A solid walnut dining armchair whose frame sweeps in one continuous line from back to arm to leg. The space between the arms and the backrest is left open; that negative space is the design.
A floating back pad and a firm seat, both in an oatmeal ecru woven linen-wool, sit suspended within the warm walnut frame.
The armrests are slim, flat and deliberately low. With a seat height of 46 cm and arms at about 60 cm, the chair is proportioned for standard 75 cm dining tables and slides fully beneath the tabletop — an armchair that keeps the comfort of arms without blocking the table. Long tapered legs and softly rounded joints give it a light, architectural presence around a table for four, six or more. Sold individually and in sets of two, four or six.
The walnut is solid, oil-finished and deepens gently with use; the flat-woven linen-wool is dense and hard-wearing, and for contract or family use can be specified in a performance textile or leather. The upholstered elements can be re-covered while the walnut frame endures.
Made to order and customisable on request: upholstery fabric, leather or colour can be changed, the frame supplied in oak or ebonized oak, and the chair produced in any quantity for a project. Trade and contract quotations available.

Payment, delivery & returns
Payment is made in full at order; a 50% deposit is available on request. Production and delivery times are given above for each piece. Delivery is free, door to door, with duties and import taxes paid by us. As each piece is made to your order, returns for change of mind are not accepted. Pieces damaged or lost in transit are refunded or replaced in full — notify us within 30 days.

We begin the day you decide.
Because nothing is held in stock, your furniture does not exist until you commission it. That is the point. The wait is the work — and the work shows in every joint, edge and polished face.
I. Commission
You choose stone, wood and size. We confirm every detail in writing before a single cut is made.
II. Workshop
The material is selected by hand and your piece is made for you, joint by joint, in our partner workshop, under the supervision of our French design team.
III. Crating
Your piece is crated in reinforced timber with foam, corner guards and moisture wrapping.
IV. Delivery
Shipped by sea to 41 countries and delivered door to door, free, with duties and import taxes paid by us. Damage in transit is covered for 30 days.

Delivery is free, door to door, Delivered Duty Paid. Your piece is crated in reinforced timber and shipped by sea freight, insured and tracked. We pay all customs duties and import taxes, so nothing is due on delivery. Delivery is to the ground-level door of your address; carrying inside, unpacking and assembly are not included unless agreed before you order.
Yes. You can pay in full when you order, or ask us for a 50% deposit at order with the balance paid before dispatch. Contact us before ordering to arrange a deposit.
As every piece is made to your order, we do not accept returns for change of mind. If your piece arrives damaged or is lost in transit, tell us within 30 days for a full refund or a free replacement. Every piece is also guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 2 years. See our Refund Policy.
