Choosing your dining table
Which size fits my room?
Start with everyday seating, then measure the space available with chairs pulled out. As a planning starting point, allow approximately 36 inches between the tabletop edge and nearby walls or furniture, with more room along busy walkways. Tape out the footprint before choosing a size.
Wood, travertine or marble?
Solid wood brings visible grain and a warmer visual presence. Travertine offers layered bands and muted stone tones; marble brings more pronounced veining and contrast. Compare the finish as well as the color, and ask for material-specific care instructions before deciding.
Will my chairs fit?
Compare chair width and arm height with the space beneath the tabletop. Pedestals remove corner legs, but their position still affects seating. Send us your chair measurements and preferred size for guidance.
