Choosing your dining table
Which dining table shape should I choose?
Start with the room and your daily seating. A round top creates a compact center for conversation; an oval softens the ends of a longer footprint. Rectangular and racetrack tables suit seating along two sides. Measure with chairs pulled back, and leave a clear route through the room.
Do I need a larger table or an extending one?
Most designs have separate fixed sizes. Harja has an internal butterfly leaf for a smaller everyday footprint and a longer table for guests. Compare both configurations with your room before deciding; a listed seat count still depends on chair width.
What should I confirm before ordering?
Check the selected material, finish, base position and chair clearance. For large or heavy pieces, share doorway, stair and elevator measurements as well as your delivery location. Custom sizes and material options are considered by design; contact us with a room plan to discuss your project.
Don't see exactly what you have in mind? Every design can be remade in another stone, another size, another finish.
