A low-back dining armchair carved from solid walnut, drawn as a single fluid gesture. A rounded hoop forms the backrest; from each side it releases into an open, generous loop that curls forward and comes to rest on the front of the seat frame.
The loops are never joined to the legs — they float above them — so the chair reads as a line drawn in wood, light from every angle and almost weightless to the eye.
The proportions are drawn for the table. With a seat height of 46 cm, armrests at about 58 cm and an overall height of about 72 cm, the Silta slides fully beneath a standard 75 cm dining table, loops and backrest included — an armchair with the presence of a sculpture and the footprint of a side chair. Four slender tapered legs, each joined directly into the seat frame, give it a quiet, stable stance around a table for four, six or more.
Every section is shaped by hand in solid American walnut — no veneer, no metal, no visible hardware — with transitions rounded and refined until the grain flows uninterrupted through each curve. The walnut is matte oil-finished and deepens gently with use. The seat is upholstered in smooth full-grain ivory leather with a fine welted edge; it patinates with age and can be re-covered while the walnut frame endures.
Made to order and customisable on request: the leather can be specified in another colour — including a deep forest green — or replaced with fabric, the frame produced in oak, and the chair supplied in any quantity for a project. Trade and contract quotations available.

Payment is made in full at order; a 50% deposit is available on request. Production and delivery times are given above for each piece. Delivery is free, door to door, with duties and import taxes paid by us. As each piece is made to your order, returns for change of mind are not accepted. Pieces damaged or lost in transit are refunded or replaced in full — notify us within 30 days.

We begin the day you decide.
Because nothing is held in stock, your furniture does not exist until you commission it. That is the point. The wait is the work — and the work shows in every joint, edge and polished face.
I. Commission
You choose stone, wood and size. We confirm every detail in writing before a single cut is made.
II. Workshop
The material is selected by hand and your piece is made for you, joint by joint, in our partner workshop, under the supervision of our French design team.
III. Crating
Your piece is crated in reinforced timber with foam, corner guards and moisture wrapping.
IV. Delivery
Shipped by sea to 41 countries and delivered door to door, free, with duties and import taxes paid by us. Damage in transit is covered for 30 days.

Delivery is free, door to door, Delivered Duty Paid. Your piece is crated in reinforced timber and shipped by sea freight, insured and tracked. We pay all customs duties and import taxes, so nothing is due on delivery. Delivery is to the ground-level door of your address; carrying inside, unpacking and assembly are not included unless agreed before you order.
Yes. You can pay in full when you order, or ask us for a 50% deposit at order with the balance paid before dispatch. Contact us before ordering to arrange a deposit.
As every piece is made to your order, we do not accept returns for change of mind. If your piece arrives damaged or is lost in transit, tell us within 30 days for a full refund or a free replacement. Every piece is also guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 2 years. See our Refund Policy.
