A dining side chair built around a single gesture: a floating backrest that rises on a sculpted neck of smoked oak and wraps in ivory bouclé in one continuous arc. The frame is solid smoked oak, wire-brushed so the grain reads through the mid-tone finish, with long tapered legs and joints sculpted into smooth transitions rather than hard angles.
The seat is firmly padded in the same ivory bouclé.
Armless and compact at 52 cm wide, it tucks fully under the table and sits close together when place settings are tight — which makes it as suited to a six- or eight-seat dining table as to a longer hosting layout. With a seat height of 46 cm, it is proportioned for standard 75 cm dining tables, leaving comfortable clearance between seat and tabletop. It is comfortable enough for a long dinner and resolved enough to read as a design object in its own right, at home in a residential dining room, a private-dining space, or a hospitality setting. Sold individually and in sets of two, four, six or more.
Solid oak takes daily use without complaint, and the bouclé is a dense, hard-wearing upholstery that holds its shape; for high-traffic or contract use it can be specified in a performance fabric or leather. The smoked finish hides wear better than a pale natural oak and deepens quietly over time.
Made to order and customisable on request: upholstery can be changed to your own fabric, leather or a performance textile, the oak finished lighter or darker, and the chair supplied in any quantity for a project. Trade and contract quotations available.

Payment is made in full at order; a 50% deposit is available on request. Production and delivery times are given above for each piece. Delivery is free, door to door, with duties and import taxes paid by us. As each piece is made to your order, returns for change of mind are not accepted. Pieces damaged or lost in transit are refunded or replaced in full — notify us within 30 days.

We begin the day you decide.
Because nothing is held in stock, your furniture does not exist until you commission it. That is the point. The wait is the work — and the work shows in every joint, edge and polished face.
I. Commission
You choose stone, wood and size. We confirm every detail in writing before a single cut is made.
II. Workshop
The material is selected by hand and your piece is made for you, joint by joint, in our partner workshop, under the supervision of our French design team.
III. Crating
Your piece is crated in reinforced timber with foam, corner guards and moisture wrapping.
IV. Delivery
Shipped by sea to 41 countries and delivered door to door, free, with duties and import taxes paid by us. Damage in transit is covered for 30 days.

Delivery is free, door to door, Delivered Duty Paid. Your piece is crated in reinforced timber and shipped by sea freight, insured and tracked. We pay all customs duties and import taxes, so nothing is due on delivery. Delivery is to the ground-level door of your address; carrying inside, unpacking and assembly are not included unless agreed before you order.
Yes. You can pay in full when you order, or ask us for a 50% deposit at order with the balance paid before dispatch. Contact us before ordering to arrange a deposit.
As every piece is made to your order, we do not accept returns for change of mind. If your piece arrives damaged or is lost in transit, tell us within 30 days for a full refund or a free replacement. Every piece is also guaranteed against manufacturing defects for 2 years. See our Refund Policy.
