A high-backed dining side chair with a split back — two tall upholstered panels rising from the seat and parting at the top in a narrow vertical gap, in burnt-orange velvet on solid walnut legs. The split lightens what would be a tall solid back and gives the chair a distinct silhouette from behind, where most dining chairs are an afterthought.
The height supports the back through a long dinner, while the armless, compact form tucks fully under the table and sits close together when settings are tight — well matched to a six- or eight-seat dining table. The colour makes it as much an accent as a seat. Sold individually and in sets of two, four, six or more.
The velvet is dense and hard-wearing and can be specified in a performance grade or alternative colour for contract use; the four turned legs are solid walnut, matte-finished, deepening in tone over time. The upholstered shell is built to be re-covered if a scheme changes.
Made to order. Upholstery colour and material can be changed (burnt orange is standard), the walnut finished darker, and the chair supplied in any quantity for a project. Trade and contract quotations available.
