The Silta — "bridge" in Finnish — takes its name from the continuous arc of solid walnut that flows from backrest to armrest to front leg in a single, uninterrupted gesture. There is no joint where the back meets the arm. No seam where the arm meets the leg. Just one sculptural sweep of wood, carved and bent to describe a form that is at once structural and poetic.

The walnut is chosen for its warmth and its grain — a mid-tone amber that reads as neither light nor dark, grounding the chair in a register that bridges the organic and the refined. The open frame is the design's defining move: negative space floods through the back and between the arms, making a chair that weighs almost nothing to the eye while remaining entirely solid to the touch.

The seat is upholstered in forest green full-grain leather — a deliberate provocation against the expected neutrals.
