The Haara Dining Side Chair — Smoked Oak Frame with Floating Ivory Upholstered Back
Restraint is the hardest thing to get right in furniture design. The Haara gets it right. Its smoked oak frame — wire-brushed to reveal the cathedral grain beneath the mid-tone finish — tapers at the legs with the kind of precision that only solid wood allows. The joints where legs meet seat are sculpted into smooth, organic transitions: no hard angles, no unnecessary mass. Just the minimum structure needed to hold a beautiful object in space.
The backrest is the chair's defining gesture. It floats above the frame on a sculpted neck of oak, upholstered in ivory bouclé that wraps around the crown in a clean, continuous arc. The effect is of something suspended — light, considered, entirely unhurried. Paired with the generously padded seat in the same ivory fabric, the Haara is as comfortable for a long dinner as it is compelling as a design object.
