Siima Round — White Marble & Bronze Twisted Blade Pedestal Dining Table
The Siima Round is built around a paradox: a base that is entirely open — made of air as much as metal — supports a plateau of absolute solidity. From the floor, eighteen individual blades of solid bronze-finished steel rise from a common root point, spreading outward and upward in a tight spiral before converging again at the crown disc beneath the plateau. Each blade is curved along its height, angled along its axis, and slightly twisted in its own plane — the three-dimensional compound curve that gives the base its tensile, living quality. No two blades are identical in their position within the fan. The structure is radially symmetrical but never static: it catches light from eighteen different angles simultaneously.
Above the base, the plateau is a wide disc of Bianco Lasa marble — one of the whitest, least-veined marbles quarried in the Italian Alps, chosen specifically for its near-total absence of colour. Against the deep bronze warmth of the base, it reads as pure luminosity: a surface that reflects and amplifies the available light rather than absorbing it. The edge is polished flat, square-cut, its thinness emphasising the contrast between the ethereal plateau and the dense, complex base below. The table can also be specified with a Calacatta Arabescato plateau for those who prefer a surface with more geological character.
The Siima is offered with or without an integrated rotating centre disc — a marble plateau tournant of the same stone, inset flush into the plateau surface and rotating on a precision bearing. The rotating option is specified at order; the table without it is the cleaner formal proposition. Suited for 6 to 8 guests.

The Siima Round is the table in the collection with the most kinetic energy — the base looks as if it is in motion, the blades caught mid-rotation, the fan mid-opening. It belongs to the contemporary Italian and global luxury furniture tradition of the sculptural base as the primary design statement, with the plateau as a resolved counterpoint. The contrast between the near-white marble and the deep bronze metal is among the most powerful material oppositions available in furniture design — and the Siima exploits it with full commitment.
