oval-marble-dining-table-kivi
Kivi — Oval Marble Dining Table

An oval dining table carved entirely from marble. A long elliptical top with a softly rounded edge rests on two cones of the same stone, wide at the floor and tapering as they rise, so the table seems to lift away from the ground. Top and cones are cut from the same lot, and the veins wrap around each cone in long diagonal lines — the stone reads as one continuous block from floor to tabletop.

Three marbles, three moods. Calacatta, the signature, is a bright white stone crossed by bold grey veins with a touch of gold. Verde Alpi is a deep forest green traced with fine white veining, rich and quietly dramatic. Nero Marquina is a true black with crisp white veins, graphic and architectural. All three are finished honed, to a soft satin sheen that shows the stone rather than a polish.

Offered for six at 200 × 100 cm and for eight at 240 × 110 cm, both at 75 cm high. The oval leaves no corners to bump into and lets guests gather closer at the ends, while the two cones stand well in from the ends so every place has full legroom. The Kivi Oval extends the Kivi family, alongside the round cone-pedestal table.

The engineering stays out of sight. The 3 cm top is bonded to a concealed steel frame set 25 cm in from the edge; each cone is a 4 cm marble shell around a steel core, bolted to the frame and standing on hidden adjustable levellers. The table weighs about 330 kg in the six-seat size and 400 kg in the eight-seat size, and is delivered in three parts — top and two cones — for installation on site. Sealed and maintained, the marble resists staining and gains character with use.

Made to order. Dimensions, height and stone can be adjusted on request, with other marbles available for projects. An oval all-marble dining table for 6 to 8, suited to dining rooms, residences and hospitality interiors.
